Canada, meet Giantland Twizzler! Twizzler is a mall mound of wavy, blue leaves atop dark purple petioles. This adorable hosta from Jeff is a great grower and will make a big statement in any garden. Irresistible!

Giantland Tantalize

Canada, meet Giantland Tantalize! A new introduction from Jeff Miller. A large/giant clump of chartreuse leaves with dark green, irregular margins. This hosta is a sport of ‘Blue Angel’ that colors up quicker and has a wider margin than ‘Beckoning’. Color contrast is fantastic!

Says Jeff, “I named this plant to honor one of the creators of ‘Empress Wu’ and a dear friend, Virginia Skaggs. A great plant for a great lady!”

Canada, meet Giantland Curly Toes! This small hosta will make you so happy that your toes will curl! This seedling out of ‘Cranberry Wine’ has wonderful gold/chartreuse leaves with great substance, are really wavy and curl under. The petioles are dark, cranberry red with color that comes right up into the leaves creating a fantastic contrast. Winner in the Seedgrowers Competition.

Canada, meet a VERY special hosta, Giantland Big Bastard! How did it get the name? “Now THAT is a BIG BASTARD!” were Jeff’s exact words when he came across this monster in his 8 year old seedling bed. With a reaction like that it was a no-brainer to select this one to introduce. If you want a HOSTA that growls at you as you walk by and eats voles as a side snack, then this hosta is for you!

Giantland Banana Tree

Canada, meet Giantland Banana Tree! This very unique GIANT hosta makes a huge clump of metallic blue-green leaves, measuring over 44″ tall. First reaction seeing it, Rod Kuenster said “It looks like a banana tree!”. The pips in the spring are 9″ in circumference… even Jeff has a hard time getting his hand around a single pip. Jeff describes this hosta as “it certainly passes the 50 ft. rule, no other hosta like it… very tropical looking”.

Canada, please meet Giantland Athletic Cup! This Giantland introduction is a large, upright, vase-shaped clump of heavily corrugated, heavily cupped green leaves. If you like to underplant your hostas with other perennials or shade-loving annuals, this is your hosta. As Jeff Miller, Mr. Hosta himself says, “Nice stand up, impressive hosta, very unique green cupper. Looks like an athletic cup… with great support! LOL”

Giantland Aftershock

Canada, please meet Giantland Aftershock. This FABULOUS new large introduction from Jeff Miller has that WOW factor you’ve been looking for! Outstanding medium/large clump of rounded blue leaves are beautifully cupped and corrugated with a shocking spark of green and white streaked in the center. “There is simply no other cupper out there with this fantastic variegation”, says Jeff. This hosta will leave you with ‘aftershocks’.
